TIPREX's successful inauguration paves the way for a new dawn - Joint partnerships and collaborative efforts have paid off - 7,602 trade visitors from 50 countries visited the 4-day exhibition
TIPREX 2006, Thailand and
Indochina's premier plastic and rubber exhibition played host to some
200 exhibiting companies from 20 countries. The exhibition was opened
on 14 September 2006 by Her Excellency Khun Chutaporn Lambasara, Deputy
Permanent Secretary of Thailand's Ministry of Industry..
The
collaborative efforts by the 3 organizations namely, Thai Plastic
Industries Association, FTI - Plastic Industry Club and Messe
Duesseldorf Asia has paid off. Mr Jeroen Katinger, Managing Director
of NETSTAL SINGAPORE PTE LTD, commented, "The joint collaboration among

point rather than having too many smaller exhibitions to participate

TIPREX
2006 embraced the strong support from both leading international,
regional and Thai exhibiting companies including the 4 national
pavilions from Austria, Germany, Italy and Singapore. The exhibition
presented a comprehensive range of machinery and equipment, processing
solutions and services to 7,602 trade and professionals from 50
countries who visited the exhibition. 88.8 percent of the visitors
came from Thailand. A high level of in-hall business networking
activities was observed over the 4-days. Some exhibiting companies
reported having sold their machinery as well as securing future orders.

TIPREX Set For Successful Debut Promotional Efforts Promise Solid Attendance
With
just two weeks to go until the inaugural TIPREX 2006, interest from the
region's plastic and rubber processing industries continue to grow
against a backdrop of a solid promotional effort by the show
organizers. Efforts have encompassed show
previews, presentations and press conferences, direct mailing of flyers
and electronic direct mailings, and newspaper advertisements in leading
newspapers in Thailand and Vietnam. Consequently, pre-registration
figures look very promising, with visitors hailing from some 30
countries expressing their intent to visit the show.
TIPREX
is jointly organized by Thai Plastic Industries Association, The
Federation of Thai Industries - Plastic Industry Club, and Messe
Duesseldorf Asia. The show will be held at the state-of-the-art Bangkok
International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 14 to 17
September 2006. It will be formally opened on 14 September at 10.30am
by Thailand's Minister of Industry. Members of the diplomatic corps,
various government officials, association heads, and who's who of the
regional plastic and rubber industries will also attend the ceremony.

Innovations from International Presence at TIPREX
TIPREX
2006 will debut in Bangkok this coming September with a distinct
international flavor. The approximately 200 companies expecting to take
part in the event hail from 20 countries, with four national pavilions
highlighting the global hue of the show.
Exhibitors are bringing
their latest technologies to TIPREX. KRAUSS-MAFFEI, for example, will
display a CX series injection moulding machine. MOTAN is introducing
its IntelliBlend to the Indochina market, a powerful innovation to
optimise the dosing process. Trade visitors can learn from BERSTORFF's
three new extrusion lines ideal for the production of PP, PS and PET
thermoforming sheets. In materials handling, ZEPPELIN will introduce a
new generation of diverter valves.
The four national pavilions from Austria, Germany, Italy and Singapore will showcase the best each country has to offer.

Exhibitor Interest Strong for TIPREX's Debut Visitors will be treated to a gamut of global technologies and solutions
Less
than three months away from opening, TIPREX 2006, the Thai
International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition for the Indochina Region,
looks all set to premier as a successful industry event. Organized by
Thai Plastic Industries Association, The Federation of Thai Industries
- Plastic Industry Club and Messe Duesseldorf Asia, some 200 companies
from 20 countries, including national groups from Austria, Germany,
Italy and Singapore are expected to exhibit at TIPREX 2006. The
exhibition will also feature a strong turnout from local Thai
exhibitors.
Trade visitors will be treated to a showcase of
the best in plastic and rubber machinery, equipment, products and
services. For instance, visitors to TIPREX can look forward to see the
latest injection moulding technology from ARBURG GMBH & CO KG who
will showcase the latest Allrounder 420 C Golden Edition with 1.000 kN
clamping force. BATTENFELD KUNSTSTOFFMASCHINEN GMBH will feature its
Microsystem 50, a 5-ton micro-injection moulding machine for
micro-precision parts. The machine comes with a complete solution on
process technology, automation and on-line quality inspection, clean
room module and packaging solution, and most importantly, the mould
technology. TOSHIBA MACHINE (THAILAND) CO LTD will be highlighting its
all-electric injection machines offerings.

Joint Organizing Effort Realizes Truly Regional Plastics Showcase for the Indochina Region — Strong Growth Prospects in Indochina Mark Timely Debut
The
plastic and rubber industries within Indochina now have its own truly
representative show. This has come about through a landmark
collaboration between three major organizations: Thai Plastic
Industries Association, The Federation of Thai Industries - Plastic
Industry Club and Messe Duesseldorf Asia. The partners have pooled
together their organizational resources and market expertise garnered
from their independent organization of previous Thai-base exhibitions
-- TIPF (by the Thai Plastic Industries Association) and T-PLAS (by
Messe Duesseldorf Asia) -- to inaugurate TIPREX 2006, the Thai
International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition for the Indochina Region.
TIPREX will replace both TIPF and T-PLAS.
